I am writing to apply for the Medical Sales Representative – Surgical Sales position covering the Ocala, FL territory. I bring over five years of experience working directly in operating room environments, supporting surgeons across multiple specialties, and building trusted relationships within hospital and surgical center settings.

My background includes extensive in-OR exposure supporting complex cases in hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB), foregut, upper GI, and colorectal surgery, with additional exposure to other surgical specialties through cross-coverage and shadowing. In my surgical research and clinical support role, I worked closely with five attending surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, frequently serving as the point of contact for intraoperative needs, case coordination, and workflow execution. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how surgical products are evaluated, adopted, and supported in real-world OR settings.

I am comfortable presenting to surgeons, navigating perioperative workflows, and supporting both existing accounts and new business opportunities within a defined territory. My clinical foundation—including completion of one year of medical school during the COVID-19 pandemic—allows me to communicate effectively with surgeons and clinical stakeholders while translating product value into practical surgical outcomes.

I currently reside within reasonable commuting distance of Ocala and have spent the past decade managing long commutes and territory travel, including a current two-hour commute. Territory coverage and travel are well within my expectations and routine.
